At Interplastica 2015 in Moscow (Booth FOB46) German Brückner Maschinenbau presents latest solutions that help film producers to become more productive and profitable.

Highly efficient lines for commodity film production

Whether it’s BOPP or BOPET commodity packaging film: Manufacturers are looking for technologies that optimize overall performance and minimize operating costs for large and small lots. Visitors at the Brückner booth will see latest solutions for optimal raw material utilization and thus low resin costs, improved operating stability, high line uptime and low energy consumption. Brückner’s film stretching lines offer working widths, production speeds, outputs and flexibility unmatched within the industry.

Developments presented include brand-new energy saving measures in both, thermal and electrical respect. One of the highlights will be the “Intelligent Line Management” (ILM) including an energy monitor for measuring and analyzing the energy consumption of the film production process based on the international standard ISO 50001.

Good prospects for interplastica and UPAKOVKA / UPAK ITALIA in Moscow

11.12.2013 Section: Press releases

Russia continues to provide an environment for the plastics and rubber industry and for the packaging sector. The country’s economy is still growing, and its main strengths are the size of its domestic market and its consumption-focused society.

Consumer-oriented industries are therefore showing particularly dynamic growth, e.g. food and beverages, the automotive industry, construction, electrical and electronic goods, medical engineering, the chemical industry and sports and leisure. They all have one thing in common: a strong demand for plastics and rubber and for state-of-the-art functional packaging. As the modernisation of Russia’s domestic industry continues to be in need of strengthening, innovative machinery is just as much in demand as raw materials, packaging, tools, technical components and industrial services.

These are good conditions for the international exhibitors at interplastica and UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA 2014. The two leading trade fairs in plastics and rubber and in packaging and process engineering will be held simultaneously from 28 to 31 January. Trade visitors can look forward to an even wider range than at previous events. In all, approximately 1,000 exhibitors will be showcasing their innovative products and services on a net space of about 17,000 square metres.

New technologies, processing and packaging solutions: UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA is a trendsetter for the Russian market

18.12.2012 Section: Press releases

At UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA exhibitors from over 20 countries will be showing what matters in the industry: Technological innovations on the one hand, optimisation of proven machines and processes on the other. The key area of focus is the presentation of complete production process chains. Here, the trend is tending towards integrated concepts as opposed to isolated, individual solutions.

UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA therefore provides a window on the complete value creation chain: From packaging manufacturers and imprinting onto packaging right through to converting and finishing. This makes UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA the most important exhibition for the industry in Russia and the neighbouring GUS countries.

Future Forum 2013 - Trends for the Russian market

17.12.2012 Section: Press releases

For the first time, a Future Forum is going to accompany the 21st UPAKOVKA / UPAK ITALIA in January 2013 called
Trends for the Russian Market”.

This is an additional service that gives you, as a selected exhibitor, the possibility of introducing your latest technological innovations or optimizations of proven machines and procedures to visitors during a special Trend Show.

  • In an Open Forum, you will have the possibility to present your latest innovations in a talk and describe them in detail. So, with the help of the discussion event, you can talk directly with users.
  • In addition to presentations, you have the option of directly showcasing your innovations in a separate Product Show to draw more attention to your company.
  • Furthermore, the exhibition of the SAVE FOOD initiative will be shown. UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA 2012: Top class technology

Investment in the Russian packaging industry on the rise again +++ 20,000 attend trade fair in Moscow.

Russia is one of the TOP 20 consumer goods markets worldwide, and with about 143 million consumers, it is an important market, especially for the food and beverage industry. Domestic consumption benefits from the fact that the middle class is growing steadily and the population’s consumption patterns and consumer habits are changing noticeably. There is evidence of a marked change in direction, in particular when it comes to food and beverages, with processed and packaged food as well as convenience products gaining increasing popularity. Demand for such products is also on the increase due to the continued spread of super- and hypermarkets, which are now gradually becoming established in medium-sized towns.

Packaging plays an important role in this market, not only acting as a protective container for storage and transportation, but also for the marketing and presentation of products. It is not just suppliers of product- and customer-friendly packaging creations who benefit from this development, but also manufacturers of packaging machines and packaging. National and international producers are investing in modern, flexible plant and in packaging materials to meet the rising expectations.
